A double convex lens, or converging lens, focuses the diverging, or blurred, light rays from a distant object by refracting bending the rays twice. This double bending causes the rays to converge at a focal point behind the lens so that a sharper image can be seen or photographed.

Why are concave reflections upside down? If it goes into a spoon, which is concave — going inwards — the light comes back to you at an angle. The top of the spoon will reflect downwards and the bottom of the spoon will reflect upwards. The left side of the spoon will reflect right and vice versa.
